We invite your family to join us for a 3 Day, 2 night Yellowstone Adventure. Combining our most popular trips, the Overnight Horseback Ride and the Overnight Raft Trip, this excursion is the staff pick! A wonderful introduction horses, rafts, cabin life, and camping---not to mention the Northern Yellowstone region. From the time we greet you at 2 pm the first day, until you leave us around 2 pm the third day we'll treat you to Montana hospitality complete with all the gear and home cooked meals. Perfect for all ages and experience levels, kids 7 and up.

Day One: We'll greet you early afternoon and provide you with directions to the premier outfitting ranch in the area. Surrounded by forest service the ranch has 2 cabins and 3 cozy canvas wall tents for guests to get settled into before a delightful 2 hour horse ride with dramatic views overlooking Yellowstone. Followed by a steak on the grill and all the fixin's Cowboy Cookout you can settle into the pace of a Montana sunset and 70 head of horses wandering the hill side.

Day Two: Rise and Shine, hot breakfast served at 7:30am. By 8:30am you'll be atop a horse headed into the wilderness for a four hour horse ride. You'll be glad for photo stops in this Montana scenery---few people get to experience this wild country. When you return to the ranch at 12:30pm lunch will be served. One last hour of ranch life before winding back down the hill to Gardiner. Your heart will be content from all the high mountain fresh air! Come join us for this unforgettable experience! Day Three: Wake up to crisp air and hot coffee to sip around the fire (early AM risers may enjoy a wander or jog on the trail upriver). After a hot breakfast, you'll ready your gear and snap the lifejackets back on for another 12 miles down the river! Long stretches high banks, calm water, and intermittent rapids lure you into the pace of the river. After a full lunch spread at our private river access half way down, you'll enter into the Class IV rapids of the all-famed Yankee Jim Canyon-- a highlight of all rafters! The excitement will keep you on the edge of your seat! After four big class IV's you'll emerge into the Paradise Valley and pull off the river. A twenty minute bus ride back to Gardiner and you'll be back at the Pig ready for some relaxation and time to let all of the memories soak in!

Many people choose to add on a 3 night stay in our Yellowstone Vacation Rental and continue to explore the area. Tour the park during the day and relax at night in the comfort of one of our cozy, unique homes on the Yellowstone River. Enjoy amazing views, your own space, and barbecue on the 40 foot deck overlooking the Yellowstone River. In the morning have coffee while watching the sun come up over 11,000 ft Electric Peak.
